In order to digitize the guest information and wayfinding experience at Çırağan Palace, in-elevator screens and a Flip Totem solution were implemented.
Within the scope of the project, screen infrastructures were established at various points of the hotel where event, wayfinding, announcement, and promotional content needed by guests can be presented digitally. Taking advantage of elevators being heavily used areas, the screens were integrated into the existing interior architecture.
Thanks to the vertical screens positioned inside the elevators, organizations, events, area information, and promotional content held within the hotel can be conveyed to guests during their journey. Special care was taken during the placement of the screens to preserve the classical and prestigious architectural structure of Çırağan.
The Flip Totem, used in the lobby and common areas, created an eye-catching digital information point for event wayfinding, organization details, and in-hotel announcements. Thanks to its vertical screen structure, content can be easily viewed from a distance and updated according to different use cases.
The project carried out at Çırağan in 2024 brought together the hotel's characteristic interior architecture with modern digital screen technologies, creating a more up-to-date, accessible, and holistic guest information experience.
In a prestigious structure with heavy event, meeting, and accommodation traffic such as Çırağan Palace, it was a critical need for guests to easily access quick information about event areas, meeting rooms, directions, and current announcements.
Traditional printed wayfinding and information materials did not remain flexible enough on organization days when content changes frequently; physically updating new event, hall, or wayfinding information created a time and operational burden.
At the same time, the digital solutions to be used did not just need to be functional; they had to adapt to Çırağan's characteristic, classical, and prestigious interior architecture, and offer a modern digital information experience without disrupting the existing decoration.
Therefore, there was a need for a digital screen and wayfinding infrastructure both inside the elevators and in the lobby and common areas where guests can easily see them, content can be updated quickly, and which can integrate with the hotel's architectural identity.
There was a need for a more dynamic information structure where event, meeting, and wayfinding information could be delivered to guests at the right time and easily.
Preparing printed directions and announcements from scratch with every change created an operational burden, especially during busy event periods.
The screens to be used needed to be naturally integrated into the space without disturbing Çırağan's classical and prestigious interior architecture.
There was a need for more visible digital touchpoints in the lobby, elevators, and common areas where guests could easily access event and hall information.
To make the guest information and wayfinding processes at Çırağan Palace more up-to-date, visible, and manageable, in-elevator digital screens and Flip Totem solutions were put into service.
Thanks to the vertical screens integrated into the elevator cabins, event, organization, wayfinding, and promotional content within the hotel began to be presented directly to guests at heavily used transit points. Thus, the need for printed materials was reduced, and content was managed in a more flexible and up-to-date manner.
Positioned in the lobby and common areas, the Flip Totem made event and hall directions more visible, supporting guests in easily reaching the information they need. Thanks to its vertical screen structure, it became possible to display different content in an eye-catching and readable format.
During all screen placements, Çırağan's classical and prestigious architectural character was taken into consideration. Digital solutions were integrated in harmony with the existing decoration without disrupting the aesthetic integrity of the space, creating a balanced structure between modern technology and historical atmosphere.
Event, wayfinding, and announcement content was delivered to guests faster and more up-to-date through digital screens.
Heavily used elevator cabins were transformed into digital information points, creating a new communication space where continuous contact with guests could be established.
Thanks to the Flip Totem used in the lobby and common areas, hall, event, and organization information became more visible and easily accessible.
Screens and totems were naturally integrated into the space while preserving Çırağan’s classical and prestigious interior architecture.
In the Çırağan Palace project, the Unisign TFLA430HN Flip Model Android Totem was used to ensure guests can easily access event, organization, and wayfinding information in the lobby and common areas. Thanks to its 43-inch Full HD screen and 700 cd/m² brightness value, it ensures that content is displayed clearly and eye-catchingly in large and bright indoor spaces. Thanks to the Android operating system, visual, video, and informational content can be broadcast on the screen without the need for an external media player. Its floor-standing and portable design allows the totem to be positioned flexibly at different event and wayfinding points within the hotel. Thanks to remote and central content management support, broadcasts can be updated instantly and planned according to different use cases. At Çırağan Palace, the Flip Totem was positioned as a modern digital communication point where event wayfinding and guest information content are presented. Thanks to its slim and simple design, it integrated with the hotel's prestigious interior architecture while increasing the visibility of digital content.
Considering that elevators are one of the heavily used guest touch points at Çırağan Palace, the Liftreen Digital Elevator Screen solution was used. Liftreen is a digital signage solution developed for elevator and in-building usage areas, bringing together screen hardware with content management, remote control, monitoring, and reporting features under a single system. The system allows the digital broadcasting of information, wayfinding, announcement, advertisement, and campaign content. Its screen structure suitable for elevator use offers high brightness and clear images while being designed in accordance with 24/7 operation scenarios. Thanks to different size and mounting options, screens can be adapted to existing elevator architecture. Through central content management, it becomes possible to control multiple screens from a single point, create scheduled broadcasts, and update content instantly. In the Çırağan Palace project, Liftreen transformed elevator cabins from being merely a transportation area into digital communication points where event, wayfinding, and in-hotel information content are delivered directly to guests.
